Preparing for Cal/OSHA's New 6-foot Trigger Height

DATE:

May 20, 2025

TIME:

9:00 AM Pacific Time

LOCATION: Santa Ana

Fall protection standards are changing. Cal/OSHA’s new 6-foot trigger height goes into effect July 1, 2025. We’re hosting free, in-person events to help you prepare for the new standard. You’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from Cal/OSHA and State Fund fall prevention experts as you navigate the upcoming changes.

Equipment vendors 3M, Falltech, Honeywell, Metal Tech, Werner, Little Giant, and Grainger will also be on hand to showcase fall prevention equipment and to answer your questions.

We will cover

  • The current and new trigger heights for different trades
  • How to properly identify the fall risks and implement fall protection at your workplace
  • How to plan and train for those risks and provide the appropriate equipment
  • The annual National Safety Stand-Down event which educates employees in fall and other job hazards and how you can deliver your own event
  • Find out if you qualify for free safety equipment
  • And much more…

Our seminars are free and open to all California employers and insurance brokers. This event features a 90-minute presentation plus a Q&A session and time with the equipment vendors.
