In partnership with UCLA’s Labor Occupational Safety & Health (LOSH) Program, we are offering online Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) workshops for small businesses in both English and Spanish. These free, 3-hour courses will teach employers how to develop and implement an effective health and safety program at their workplace that meets the requirements of Cal/OSHA’s Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) standard and the Hazard Communication standard.
We will cover
- How to meet Cal/OSHA requirements and expectations for an effective IIPP
- How to identify and solve common health and safety problems in the workplace
- Understanding safety data sheets
- Steps for investigating work-related accidents, injuries and illnesses when they occur
- Ways to involve employees in your safety program
The seminars will be presented by trainers from UCLA’s Labor Occupational Safety & Health Program and State Fund.
